Description

Indian Army has released the official notification for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES-55) for July 2026 course. This entry allows unmarried male candidates who have passed 10+2 (PCM) with 60% and appeared in JEE Main 2025 to apply for a Permanent Commission as Lieutenant after 4 years of training.

How to Apply?

  1. Candidates must apply online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
  2. Click on the “Online Application” link under Officer Entry.
  3. Fill in the required details carefully and submit the form.
  4. After successful submission, take two printouts of the application form.
  5. Carry one attested copy of the form along with all original documents (10th, 12th mark sheets, JEE Main 2025 result, ID proof) at the time of SSB interview.

Salary Details:

  • During Training: ₹56,100/- per month (while at IMA, Dehradun)
  • After Commissioning: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month (Level 10 Pay Matrix)
  • CTC: Approx. ₹17–18 Lakhs per annum
  • Other Benefits: Free medical cover, annual hometown travel allowance, MSP ₹15,500/month, and various military allowances.

Qualification:

  • Must have passed 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with minimum 60% aggregate.
  • Must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025.

Age Eligibility:

  • Candidate must be 16½ to 19½ years as of 01 July 2026.
  • Should be born between 02 January 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both days inclusive).
  • Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Selection Process (Offline Mode):

  1. Shortlisting of candidates based on JEE (Main) 2025 scores and PCM percentage.
  2. SSB Interview (5 days) – Psychological Tests, Group Testing, and Personal Interview.
  3. Medical Examination for recommended candidates.
  4. Final Merit List based on SSB performance and medical fitness.
  5. Joining Letter issued to selected candidates for training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun.

Training Details:

  • Total Duration: 4 years (3 years at Cadet Training Wing + 1 year at IMA, Dehradun)
  • Degree Awarded: Engineering Degree
  • Type of Commission: Permanent Commission as Lieutenant
