Eligible Engineering, Diploma, and Non-Engineering Graduates are invited to apply online and kickstart their professional journey in the public sector transport department

How To Apply?
- Online Registration: Candidates must register online through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: https://nats.education.gov.in.
- Category A/B: Existing enrollees on the old or new NATS portal should log in, reset passwords if necessary, and apply under the relevant TNSTC/MTC/SETC region listed under “Advertised Vacancies.”
- Category C: First-time users must enroll on the portal and obtain a unique enrollment number before applying for vacancies.
- After completing the enrollment/application, select the appropriate TNSTC, MTC, or SETC unit and click “apply.” The status should show as “applied.”
- Shortlisted candidates will be intimated via email and need to attend certificate verification at the TNSTC Trichy region office in November 2025 (tentative).
Salary
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering/Non-Engineering): ₹9,000 per month
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): ₹8,000 per month

Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): First-class regular full-time degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E/B.Tech) in relevant disciplines from a recognized University.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant disciplines from a recognized board or university.
- Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Full-time degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, Humanities (ex: BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BBM, BCA, etc.) from a recognized University.
- Candidates who have already undergone/are undergoing apprenticeship or have one or more years of experience are not eligible to apply.
Age Eligibility
- Age limitation will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules. There is no specific age limit mentioned in the notification (refer to official Apprenticeship Rules for details).
Age Relaxation
- Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Government of India guidelines under the Apprentices Act.
- Candidates claiming OBC non-creamy layer or other reserved categories must produce valid certificates in prescribed formats.
Offline or Online Exam
- No written exam. Selection is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the required qualification.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for Certificate Verification at TNSTC Trichy.
